HALLUX VALGUS
PROMO™ Triplanar Hallux Valgus Correction System
The patent-pending PROMO™ Tri-planar Hallux Valgus System contains a series of custom jigs and implants designed to measure, construct and fixate an osteotomy on the proximal aspect of the first metatarsal. The osteotomy created is oblique and patient specific depending on the severity of IM angle and rotation angle. The oblique cut allows rotation of the distal aspect of the metatarsal to simultaneously correct metatarsal internal rotation and varus deformity with no wedge resection.
A plate designed for the medial wall provides added stiffness since the plate is positioned on its side. Traditionally, medial wall plates add a complicating factor in that the distal screws apply adductory force on the 1st metatarsal as they are tightened to the plate.

Phantom® Lapidus Intramedullary Nail
The Phantom® Intramedullary Nail is the first Paragon 28® intramedullary nail and offers a unique option for correcting hallux valgus at the first TMT joint. The nail and threaded peg construct is zero profile and minimizes the soft tissue disruption of the first metatarsal and medial cuneiform during a Lapidus procedure.
AVITRAC™ MTP Revision System
The AVITRAC™ MTP Revision System was created to provide an option when revising a failed Synthetic Cartilage Implant (SCI). The system contains grafts with the accompanying reamers in three different size options (Ø9 mm, Ø11 mm, Ø13 mm) to address the void left in the head of the metatarsal upon removal of an SCI implant.
